How did this all start?

OK so I got a little ahead of myself. Back to the beginning...We have been trying to find our way after the sale of the Orange 'vette.  It has been hard to top that ride. 


Since then we have tried a stock car and STR.  The BS Cayman was a blast to drive until we saw the times; we slowly learned that we were having to beat the computers.  STR was a blast, we always had a class to run with and the guys in the class were great. But it ended on a personal low note in Texas while nationals were running up in Lincoln.  Time to move on... Time to find a car and a class that fits both of our driving styles. 


So, fast forward to just a couple weeks ago, after spending about 6 weeks batting around all sorts of options including going back to 'vettes.  We decided to try a Cayman again.  This time a 'S' version, and in the re-organized ASP.  We are hoping that with the rules we can get past the issues that we had with the BS car. 


The plan is simple, basic, good quality parts.
